ABOUT
Historically held at The Kennedy Fine Arts Theater on Savannah State University campus our play is a visual representation of the emotional experiences and daily living our children in foster care experience leading up to the Holidays. You will follow the main character, Hailey, on her unique journey of unforeseen disruption at home causing displacement (of a young child) to a group home care facility. Hailey encounters peers in care with emotional and physical experiences she’s never encountered. Hailey also recieves a social worker who is experiencing the difficulties of life within her own family. The play is wonderfully narrated by the whimsical voice of Father Foster Care - an enchanted character who represents Foster Care as a whole and leads the audience on the journey with Hailey.
